Mary Mullahy & Ann
Duffy 1930 U.S. Census Entry
This close-up of a page from the
1930 Census lists Mary Mullahy (Sr. Mary Carmel) as well as Ann Duffy (Sr. Mary
Teresita/Aunt Nanch). Both are living
at the convent associated with Mercy Hospital in San Diego and both are
seamstresses (not visible). Note that there’s an error as it lists Ann as
having been born in Northern Ireland instead of Irish Free State.
